Caramel Turtles
Crunchy pecans, soft caramel, and a smooth Dolci topping come together in these easy, crowd-pleasing chocolate turtles.
Ingredients
- 1 canister Dolci Frutta Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 3 cups pecan halves
- Homemade or store-bought caramel
- Optional: Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Arrange pecans in a single layer, clusters of 5 on the prepared baking sheet.
- Top with a spoonful of caramel. Let sit to harden.
- Melt Dolci Frutta according to package directions.
- Top hardened caramel with a spoonful of melted Dolci.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
- Allow to set at room temperature until hardened.
Tips
Make sure the caramel layer is touching all five of the pecans in each turtle cluster.
