Strawberry Cheesecake Berries
All the flavor of strawberry cheesecake, wrapped up in the cutest little bite you’ve ever seen. Sweet, creamy, and dangerously snackable.
Ingredients
- 1 canister Dolci Frutta White Melting Wafers
- 1 pint of strawberries
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 oz freeze-dried strawberries
- 8 oz shortbread cookies
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- Piping bag
- Wax paper
Instructions
- Add freeze-dried strawberries, shortbread cookies, and butter to a food processor. Process until the mixture resembles small crumbs and is well blended. Set aside for later, this will be our strawberry crunch topping!
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Wash and dry strawberries.
- Remove tops and hull strawberries.
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Melt Dolci Frutta according to package directions.
- Carefully dip the strawberry in melted Dolci (it’s okay to get messy). Set on a prepared baking sheet.
- Top berry with strawberry crunch topping.
- Using gloved hands (to avoid leaving finger prints), fill the hulled strawberries with the cream cheese filling.
- Sprinkle the top of the berry with extra strawberry crunch topping.
Tips
Wait just a moment before topping the dipped berries with the strawberry crunch topping. The coating should be set enough to hold them, but still slightly wet.
